Warranty Policy

The warranty excludes products that have been subject to abuse, misuse, mishandling, accident, alteration, unauthorized repair or installation, or acquired through an unauthorised third party. All products have a 12-month warranty (or 36-month depending on the product) and an All Return to Base (RTB) warranty. You will be responsible for paying for your shipping costs for returning your item for warranty. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
 
  • For all the warranty returns, the goods must be returned to us at the buyer's expense and once the goods are repaired, we will courier them back down at our expense. 
  • No warranty if the warranty seal is broken, this will avoid the warranty (or open by the customer).
  • A faulty item must be sent to a supplier/manufacturer for fault assessment before repairing or replacing defective products. (Physical damage is not covered under Manufacturers’ warranties.)  Included customer installs job.
  • We will not cover the cost of removal, re-installation, or labour resulting from any defective products.
  • If no fault is found in the faulty item, the buyer will be charged an Inspection Fee of $79 + GST and must pay for courier costs to send the product(s) back.
  • we wouldn't accept invoice transfer of ownership if you sold your vehicle to a new owner.
  • Certified installers must install all car alarms to cover the warranty.

 

We do not cover the cost of removal, re-installation and any other labour resulting from defective products. Please provide evidence ie. photo, or video when claiming a warranty through sales@qualitycaraudio.co.nz

*** Important! For Subwoofer and Amplifier Customer! ***

Before proceeding with any setup, please ensure you have read the Subwoofer/Amplifier manual thoroughly. Damage resulting from incorrect tuning, wiring subwoofers to an improper impedance, mismatching subwoofer/amplifier impedance, or physical damage will not be covered under the manufacturer's warranty. We strongly recommend having your new subwoofer/amplifier installed by a certified car audio installer to avoid any installation errors, which are also not covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Additionally, issues such as incorrect amplifier gain tuning and using a subwoofer box of the wrong size will not be covered by the warranty.


We are delighted that you have chosen to purchase the under-seat subwoofer, Active subwoofer, Subwoofer or Amplifier.

Setup Caution:

Please note that the gain control dial is NOT a volume control.

WARNING: Setting the gain control too high can cause distortion and potentially damage your subwoofer, making it unusable and irreparable. Signs of burnt voice coils indicate that the subwoofer has been overdriven. Such misuse is NOT covered under the manufacturer's warranty.


**Important: The manufacturer's warranty becomes null and void if damage occurs due to improper installation or power surges. It is imperative to enlist professional installation services. To avail of the warranty, a valid invoice/certificate from the installer is mandatory.
